In the late 1990s, Jeffrey Epstein expanded development at his Zorro Ranch property in Stanley, New Mexicoa roughly 10,000-acre compound in the Sandia Mountains area south of Santa Fe. The property included a large main residence of approximately 26,000 square feet and various outbuildings.
Zorro Ranch served multiple purposes in Epstein’s operation: as a venue for gatherings with scientists (including retreats where he expressed his eugenics beliefs), as a documented location of abuse (Annie Farmer was victimized there), and as a private retreat away from his more urban properties. New Mexico law enforcement conducted investigations in connection with the federal case.
