Starting in 2002 and continuing through approximately 2003, former President Bill Clinton and his staff traveled on Jeffrey Epstein’s Boeing 727 jet on multiple occasions. The flights were primarily associated with Africa-related travel in connection with the work of the William J. Clinton Foundation, which was active in negotiating reduced antiretroviral drug prices for HIV/AIDS treatment across sub-Saharan Africa.

Flight logs that became public in 2019 documented approximately 26 occasions on which Clinton appeared in records associated with Epstein’s aircraft. The logs showed travel to destinations in Africa, Europe, and elsewhere.

Clinton’s office has confirmed the travel, stating it was entirely connected to foundation work. The arrangement provided Clinton with convenient private jet access for international trips that might otherwise have been expensive or logistically complex.

For Epstein, the association with a former U.S. president provided enormous social capital: it reinforced his image as a uniquely well-connected figure in global elite circles.

Several Clinton Secret Service agents also appeared in certain flight records, consistent with standard post-presidential security practices, though some log entries have been subject to ongoing scrutiny regarding specific passenger lists on individual flights.
