Palm Beach Police Open First Formal Criminal Investigation

Palm Beach Police open an investigation after complaints from the mother of a 14-year-old girl. Detective Joseph Recarey identified over 30 potential victims and recommended charges of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and lewd and lascivious molestation. The case was referred to the State Attorney and then to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
