Leon Black Begins Paying Fees to Epstein for Advisory Services

Leon Black, chairman of Apollo Global Management, begins paying Jeffrey Epstein substantial advisory fees for estate planning and tax advice. Black would ultimately pay Epstein over $158 million. An independent review by Dechert LLP concluded the payments were for legitimate services though the relationship attracted intense scrutiny.
