Epstein Found Dead at Metropolitan Correctional Center, New York

Epstein is found unresponsive in his cell at Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) in Manhattan. The New York City Medical Examiner ruled the death a suicide by hanging. Forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden, hired by Epstein's estate, disputed this finding, citing injuries including multiple neck fractures more consistent with homicidal strangulation. Guards had failed to check on him as required. Two guards were charged with falsifying prison records.
