The Cooper Union (New York City): Epstein briefly attended this prestigious art and science college on a scholarship but did not complete a degree.
New York University (NYU): Epstein enrolled in the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, one of the country’s leading math departments. He reportedly left without completing his degree.
The Dalton School: Despite having no college degree, Epstein was hired to teach physics and mathematics at the elite Dalton School on Manhattan’s Upper East Side in 1973. His charm and apparent mathematical brilliance landed him the position. One of his students was the son of investment banker Alan Greenberg at Bear Stearns — a connection that opened the door to Wall Street.
