Within hours of Epstein’s arrest at Teterboro Airport on July 6, 2019, FBI agents executed a search warrant at his Manhattan townhouse at 9 East 71st Street. The search yielded substantial evidence.
Contents of the Safe
According to the SDNY indictment and court filings, the 2019 search found:
- Hundreds (potentially thousands) of photographs: Including nude and semi-nude photographs of what appeared to be underage girls
- CD-ROMs labeled with names: Suggesting organized storage of visual material
- Diamonds: A cache of loose gems
- Foreign passport: An Austrian passport bearing Epstein’s photograph under a fictitious name, listing a Saudi Arabian address
What the Passport Showed
The Austrian passport had been created in the 1980s (per the document date). This established that Epstein had maintained fraudulent identity documentation for decadespredating his known criminal conduct by years.
How This Was Used in Court
