Little Saint James, the 75-acre private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands that served as Epstein’s primary abuse site, was sold in March 2023 as part of the estate’s settlement proceedings. The island sold for approximately million to a buyer whose identity has not been publicly disclosed in confirmed reports. The sale was part of the estate’s obligation under the million settlement with the U.S. Virgin Islands. Nearby Great Saint James island, also owned by Epstein’s estate, was sold separately. Epstein had purchased Little Saint James in 1998 for approximately .95 million and subsequent construction significantly increased its value.
