Maxwell Case

When was Ghislaine Maxwell sentenced?

Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced on June 28, 2022 by U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan to 20 years in federal prison, plus three years of supervised release following her prison term. The sentence was at the lower end of what prosecutors requested. Maxwell addressed the court at sentencing, expressing sympathy for victims without making a direct admission. Her attorneys had argued for a 5-year sentence based on her background and Epstein’s role as the primary offender. Maxwell is currently serving her sentence at FCI Tallahassee in Florida.
