Maxwell Trial

Who were the four survivors who testified at Ghislaine Maxwell's trial?

Four survivors testified at Ghislaine Maxwell’s federal trial in New York in December 2021.

Annie Farmer was the only witness who testified under her real name. She described being abused at Epstein’s New Mexico ranch in 1996 when she was seventeen years old. Ghislaine Maxwell was present and participated in the abuse.

“Jane” testified that she was recruited at age fourteen and abused repeatedly by Epstein in Florida and New York. Maxwell groomed her and was present during the abuse. She is one of the central accusers in the case.

“Carolyn” testified that she was abused starting at age fourteen at Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion. Maxwell managed payments to her and other girls, functioning as an operational manager of the abuse.

“Kate” described being recruited by Maxwell in London as a teenager and trafficked to Epstein. Her testimony covered the international dimension of the operation.

All four women described Maxwell as an active participant — not merely a bystander — who recruited, groomed, and in some cases directly participated in the abuse. The jury found Maxwell guilty on five of six counts based substantially on their testimony.
