Who is Courtney Wild and what did she do at Epstein's 2019 bail hearing?

Courtney Wild was first abused by Jeffrey Epstein when she was 14 years old at his Palm Beach mansion. She was one of the lead plaintiffs in the CVRA lawsuit and had been fighting for accountability for over a decade by the time of Epstein’s 2019 arrest. At the federal bail hearing on July 15, 2019, Wild addressed the court directlyone of the few survivors to do soasking the judge to deny bail. She argued that allowing Epstein bail would re-traumatize victims and enable continued conduct. Judge Richard Berman denied Epstein’s bail request. Wild has continued public advocacy work since Epstein’s death.
