The Epstein Connection
Epstein provided financial backing for Brunel’s MC2 Model Management agency, allegedly in exchange for access to models and introductions to young women. Multiple victims described Brunel as a recruiter who delivered women to Epstein.
The Allegations Against Him
Multiple women alleged Brunel sexually assaulted them over his career in the modeling industry. Virginia Giuffre alleged Brunel was involved in her trafficking. Brunel was accused in court filings of providing Epstein with ‘victims.‘
The French Investigation
Following Epstein’s 2019 arrest, French authorities opened investigations into potential trafficking and rape involving Brunel. He was taken into custody in France in December 2020.
His Death
Jean-Luc Brunel died by apparent suicide at La Santé prison in Paris on February 19, 2022, while awaiting trial on the French charges. His death ended the French criminal proceedings against him.
