Sarah Ransome is a South African-born survivor who has described being trafficked to Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, Little Saint James, in the U.S. Virgin Islands in 2006 and 2007. Ransome has stated that she was isolated on the island and felt unable to escape, describing attempts to flee that were impeded by patrol boats and island geography. She says she reached out for help at various points but felt unheard.
