Ghislaine Maxwell
Maxwell was Epstein’s most important associate. Daughter of British media mogul Robert Maxwell, she met Epstein after her father’s death in 1991 and became both his romantic partner and operational lieutenant. She recruited young women, trained them in what was expected, accompanied Epstein on trips, and maintained his social and professional calendar. She was convicted in December 2021 on five federal counts including sex trafficking of a minor.
Lesley Groff
Groff served as Epstein’s executive assistant in New York for roughly two decades. She managed his schedule, coordinated travel for victims traveling to his properties, and was named as a co-conspirator in the 2008 federal non-prosecution agreement along with Maxwell, Kellen, and Ross. She received immunity from federal prosecution. Civil suits have continued to name her.
Sarah Kellen
Kellen worked as Epstein’s personal assistant, directly scheduling “massage” appointments. She later changed her name to Sarah Vickers following her marriage to NASCAR driver Brian Vickers. She received immunity under the 2008 NPA and has not faced criminal charges. She was also named in civil deposition testimony.
Adriana Ross
A Polish-born former model who worked for Epstein, Ross was also named as a co-conspirator in the 2008 NPA. She pled the Fifth extensively in depositions but later provided some cooperation in the Maxwell prosecution.
Jean-Luc Brunel
A French modeling agent who ran MC2 Model Management, partly funded by Epstein. Brunel recruited young women and girls from Eastern Europe, France, and Brazil. He was arrested in France in December 2020 and died in a French prison in February 2022 while awaiting trial.
