Transfer from Wexner

In 1996, Les Wexner transferred the property to Epstein. The official transaction price was $0 (or a nominal sum). Wexner described this as settling a debt, though no specific details have ever been made public.

This is one of the most thoroughly documented examples of the unexplained financial transfers within the Epstein network.

FBI Search (2019)

After Epstein’s arrest in July 2019, federal agents searched the mansion. Among the findings:

  • Thousands of photographs and images, including images of naked minors
  • Passports bearing different names but Epstein’s photograph
  • Large sums of cash and jewelry
  • Contact notebooks listing names
  • Hidden cameras embedded in room walls (according to investigators)

Sale (2022)

The mansion was listed for sale in 2021 and reportedly sold for $51 million in 2022. Proceeds were directed to the victim compensation fund.

Role in the Criminal Network

Numerous victims described the mansion as a site for “massage sessions” and as one of the main hubs of the New York network. It also served as a meeting place for scientists, businessmen, and public figures.
