Carolyn (Andriano)

Background

Carolyn grew up in Palm Beach, Florida, and was recruited into Jeffrey Epstein’s network through a friend when she was approximately 14 years old. She testified that she began going to Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion to give massages, which became sexual in nature, and that she was paid cash for each visit.

Maxwell Trial Testimony

At the 2021 Maxwell trial, Carolyn testified as one of the government’s four Jane Doe witnesses (using only her first name). Her testimony was significant for two key elements:

First, she described in detail the years of visits to Epstein’s Palm Beach residence as a teenager the cash payments, the sexual abuse, and the normalization of what was occurring.

Second, and critically for the Maxwell prosecution, Carolyn testified that she met Ghislaine Maxwell directly at Epstein’s property. She described Maxwell touching her and commenting on her body in a way that felt like an evaluation testimony that supported the government’s case that Maxwell was an active participant in grooming, not merely a bystander.

Memoir and Advocacy

After the trial, Carolyn published a memoir under her full name, Carolyn Andriano, describing her experiences in Epstein’s network and the aftermath. She became a vocal advocate for trafficking survivors.
