Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein were social acquaintances from roughly the late 1980s through the early 2000s. Both moved in the same New York City and Palm Beach elite social circles.
Documented Facts
Mar-a-Lago Party (1992): In 1992, Trump hosted a private party at his Mar-a-Lago club that Epstein attended. Video footage from the party, showing both men flirting with women and young dancers, emerged in media reports in 2019.
Trump’s Quote (2002): In 2002, Trump told New York Magazine: “I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”
Mar-a-Lago Ban: Later reportedly around 20042007 Trump allegedly banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago following an incident involving the daughter of a club member. Details remain disputed.
Public Distancing (2019)
After Epstein’s re-arrest in 2019, Trump publicly distanced himself, stating he was “not a fan” of Epstein and had not spoken with him in 1015 years.

Trump’s name appears minimally in the unsealed court documents from the Epstein-Maxwell cases. No criminal charges have been brought against him in connection with Epstein.
