Mitchell’s name appeared in the Giuffre v. Maxwell civil suit documents unsealed in January 2024. Virginia Giuffre alleged that she was directed to have sexual encounters with Mitchell.

Denial

Mitchell issued a forceful denial through his attorney: “Senator Mitchell has never met, spoken with or had any contact with Virginia Giuffre. The allegations against him are 100% false.”

He was never criminally charged or indicted in connection with the Epstein case.
