Maria Farmer is an American artist who worked as an assistant for Epstein in 19951996 and was subjected to abuse by both Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

First Contact (1995)

Farmer met Epstein through her younger sister Annie. Epstein presented himself as an art patron offering support to young artists. Maria went to work as an assistant at his New York apartment.

The Crime and FBI Complaint (1996)

In 1996, Maria Farmer filed a complaint with the FBI against Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, alleging sexual assault and coercion. This is the first documented complaint filed with U.S. law enforcement regarding Epstein.

The FBI received the report but took no action for the next two decades.
