Rina Ahuja

Background

Rina Ahuja is an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York. She served as part of the prosecution team in United States v. Ghislaine Maxwell.

Maxwell Trial Role

Ahuja was part of the government’s trial team at the Maxwell trial held in November-December 2021. She worked alongside fellow prosecutors Maurene Comey, Lara Pomerantz, and Alison Moe in presenting the government’s case against Maxwell.

The prosecution team secured a conviction on five of six counts, including the most serious sex trafficking conspiracy charges, on December 29, 2021.
