Sarah Kellen

Background

Sarah Kellen worked as a personal assistant to Jeffrey Epstein for years, managing his schedules, coordinating travel, and serving in various administrative roles across his properties. She was perhaps the most operationally involved of Epstein’s staff.

Role in the Network

Civil litigation and victim testimony described Kellen as a significant operational figure in Epstein’s trafficking network. Victims identified her as someone who scheduled their visits to Epstein’s various properties, who managed the massage appointments, and who sometimes participated in grooming activities.

Judge Marra’s 2019 CVRA ruling specifically referenced Kellen as a named co-conspirator under the 2008 NPA meaning the NPA provided her immunity from prosecution despite prosecutors having evidence of her involvement.

Immunity Under the NPA

The 2008 non-prosecution agreement provided immunity not only to Epstein but also to “any potential co-conspirators” a provision that effectively shielded Kellen and others from prosecution. This was one of the aspects of the NPA most heavily criticized as improper.

Later Life

Following Epstein’s 2008 conviction and imprisonment period, Kellen pursued other activities. She later married NASCAR driver Brian Vickers and changed her name. She has not been criminally charged.
