Scott Borgerson is an American entrepreneur who founded CargoMetrics, a data analytics company that uses shipping data to generate investment insights. He is also a former U.S. Coast Guard officer with a background in maritime strategy.

Relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell

Borgerson is reported to have been in a long-term romantic relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell. He was identified as the individual at whose New Hampshire property Maxwell was residing when the FBI arrested her on July 2, 2020.

At the Time of Maxwell’s Arrest

Maxwell had been living in a 156-acre property in Bradford, New Hampshire, purchased in 2019 through an LLC. Borgerson was identified as connected to the property. After Maxwell’s arrest at the property, Borgerson publicly distanced himself from her.
