The Guest List
Over the years, regular or occasional attendees included leaders from Harvard, MIT, and other elite institutions. Steven Pinker, Marvin Minsky, Lawrence Krauss, and others have confirmed attending events. The gatherings provided intellectual stimulation that Epstein funded and controlled.
The Power Dynamic
Epstein used his hosting role to position himself as a peer of intellectual and social elites. The combination of his apparent wealth, his physical presence in elite social spaces, and the access he offered to other prominent guests created a context in which his conduct was not questioned.
After His Death
Many attendees who spoke publicly after events were questioned about their involvement acknowledged they had been unaware of the full extent of Epstein’s conduct. The dinners became Exhibit A in discussions about how predators capture social legitimacy.
