The Santa Fe Institute
The Santa Fe Institute (SFI) is an independent research institution in Santa Fe, New Mexico, focused on complexity science — the study of complex adaptive systems, emergence, evolution, and the fundamental principles underlying diverse natural and social phenomena.
SFI’s resident and visiting faculty have included:
