Connection to Epstein
Brunel met Epstein through mutual social connections in the late 1980s or early 1990s. Their relationship became operational: Brunel’s modeling agencies were allegedly used to recruit young women — some of them minors — under the pretense of modeling opportunities. These women were then brought into contact with Epstein.

In February 2022, he was found dead in his cell — officially ruled a suicide by hanging, mirroring the circumstances of Epstein’s death. He was 75 years old.
