Nadia Marcinkova: From Epstein Victim to Pilot

Nadia Marcinkova was brought to the United States from Eastern Europe as a teenager by Epstein, abused as part of his trafficking ring, and later obtained a commercial pilot's license.

Overview

Nadia Marcinkova (later known as Nadia Marcinko or Globalx Air pilot) is a Slovak-born woman who, according to victim testimony and court filings, was brought to the United States from Eastern Europe as a teenager by Jeffrey Epstein. She was described in legal filings by Epstein himselfin the most disturbing termsas his “sex slave.” She subsequently became involved in his network before eventually leaving that world and obtaining qualifications as a commercial aviation pilot.

Background

Born in Slovakia, Marcinkova is believed to have been approximately 15-16 years old when Epstein brought her to the United States. Virginia Giuffre and other victims named her in depositions as someone who participated in Epstein’s abuse of themeither as a co-abuser or as someone who was present during abuse.

Court filings from civil litigation reference her by name. In one notably explicit passage in sealed-and-subsequently-unsealed documents, Epstein described his ownership of Marcinkova in terms that underscored the slavery nature of the arrangement.

Marcinkova was granted immunity as part of the 2008 non-prosecution agreement. Her name appeared on a list of people who would not be federally prosecuted under the NPAa provision that victims argued was yet another way the NPA shielded Epstein’s network.

She was subpoenaed in civil litigation and provided some cooperation under that immunity arrangement.

Life After Epstein

Marcinkova distanced herself from the Epstein connection after his 2019 arrest. She became a licensed commercial pilot and has sought to rebuild a private life. She has made few public statements about her experiences or her time with Epstein.

Significance

Marcinkova’s story illustrates the spectrum of victimhood within the Epstein network: she was herself trafficked as a child yet later participated in the network as an adult. This complexitycommon in trafficking situationsdoes not nullify the original abuse she suffered.
